The entire Bhavnagar district has been relentlessly serving the education and vocational training of the blind, the only institute in Gujarat established in the year 1932 before independence for the education of the blind and their vocational development.
The institute provides convenience of living and education at free of charge without discrimination of any caste or region to the all the blind students from standard 1st to 12th.
